If you\u2019re like me, you\u2019ve seen and bought quite a few courses as part of your online education.
\nAnd maybe you\u2019re wondering if now is the time for you to jump in and create your own? You came to the right place!<\/p>\n

Does it make sense for you to build an E-course?<\/h2>\n

I have listed below some advantages of creating an E-course as part of your offerings. <\/p>\n

We all have the same 24h in a day and building an E-course is a great way to leverage your time. So let’s take a look at those advantages:<\/p>\n

  1. It is very scalable. Unlike one on one work, you can reach many more people and all over the world<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  2. It makes your genius available to a larger audience <\/strong>and people that could not afford to work with you one on one<\/li>\n
  3. If you set it as evergreen, there is no more schedule constraint and you can run it on autopilot<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. You offer self study, at your own pace using different media (video, audio, pdfs,..)<\/li>\n
  5. You’re building an asset that you can launch over and over or set it as evergreen to generate passive income<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You’re probably telling yourself right now that tons of people create E-courses these days, you shoot 2-3 videos call it a course and you’re good to go.<\/p>\n

    That is why a lot of E-courses fail.<\/em><\/p>\n

    Sometimes they fail to sell, and sometimes they sell but don’t deliver on the promise. <\/p>\n

    I have built and learned from many E-courses and I have seen what works and what doesn’t.<\/p>\n

    SO HOW DO YOU CREATE A SUCCESSFUL E-COURSE?<\/h3>\n

    By successful I mean 2 things:<\/p>\n

    1. Your students learn and apply what you taught them and you have raving students and success stories to share<\/li>\n
    2. You make money from selling your -Ecourse<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      That is my definition of a successful E-course. Many entrepreneurs see only the money generating part but in order to grow and scale you need success stories to attract more people.<\/p>\n

      Snow let’s dive into my 6 parts to creating a successful E-course:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      1) You have to be an expert at what you do<\/h4>\n

      That part is easy, you either are or you\u2019re not. Being an expert in the eyes of someone does not mean that you know everything about the subject, it means that you know more than them, that you\u2019re one step ahead of them and that they could learn something from you.<\/p>\n

      2) You need to find out what your audience wants and in which format before you create it. <\/h4>\n

      Many entrepreneurs start the other way around, they create an E-course because they think it will be awesome and nobody buys. The market research is the boring part for many but it is critical to the success of your E-course.<\/p>\n

      Don’t ever think that you know better than your audience what they want. You might know what they really need, but you need to sell them what they want.<\/p>\n

      The best way to know what they want is to talk to them: free consults, starting discussions on social media, sending surveys to your list are all good ways to get feedbacks on an idea that you have.<\/p>\n

      In any case you need an audience for your course so that they get to know you, like you and trust you and eventually buy from you. <\/p>\n

      That means building your list starting with a solid lead generation funnel with a killer opt-in freebie.<\/em><\/p>\n
