Yesterday we received one of our best testimonials ever. Most websites that you see have testimonials that are a couple of sentences saying how happy they were. Well our testimonials are all different.
First let me say that we do not have customers, we only have clients for life. Why do they all feel the need to write such compelling testimonials? Because they had a terrific experience with us. I guess they realized that we do care about what they want, what they feel, and we even include them in the process of doing if they are willing.

“Our story:
I’d known for some time that our website needed a major overhaul. I knew what look I wanted, but had no idea how to do it.
A web developer in our family originally designed our site and took care of it for many years. But inevitably that time came, and she was retiring. I was ready to take on the website, but what to do? How do I do it?
I had stumbled upon a weekly email newsletter my husband had subscribed to. In that newsletter an article jumped out at me and I was intrigued. It led to me taking online training in marketing. After two months of doing the training the urgency of needing to upgrade our website became ever more present.
During a phone consultation with the trainers, one of them said “sometimes things are outside your area of expertise”. Yes, I agree. But I don’t have 3,000 – 5,000 to hire and pay a web developer.
The training facilitator mentioned that she’d heard of a company, though very honestly said she’d never used them at all, that would build a wordpress site and their fee was very, very reasonable. 2 pages for something like $200.00 Hmmm okay send me the link I told her.
While waiting for the link I looked at what I needed in a website, maybe 12 pages and some drop downs. I wondered how much this was going to cost.
On August 10, 2012 I emailed the company. Wphelpclub.com. I am very, very particular about customer service and expect with anyone I deal with, a response within 36 hours. If you run a business, and expect to be successful you need to be available to your customers. They’re taking the time to email you; you should show the same courtesy and get back to them asap! There were a few companies I emailed. (To this day I haven’t received a reply from those other companies)
The next morning I received and email from Olivier. A couple of other emails were exchanged. Monday August 13, 2012 I woke up to an email from Olivier explaining a few things to me and that was it, I was sold! I knew it was their company that I would work with. I gave him the go-ahead and sent off my paypal deposit.
Today, August 28, 2012, 16 days after they started, (Our deadline was September 15, 2012!!) I sit here at my computer with an absolutely stunning, elegant and amazingly built website that went live today. Within an hour of the site going live I received a phone call and email from two prospective clients regarding booking our services. Our old site hadn’t ever been down during the entire process! We’re meeting with them both next week!
If you’re looking to build a wordpress site and simply don’t have the time, and can’t afford to spend 1,000’s on a developer from a fancy company, you need to hire Nathalie & Olivier from wphelpclub!! There truly is no other option. Even with a 6 hour time difference (I’m in Canada, they’re in France!) there were no issues with communication at all.
Olivier asked me if the site was far off from what I originally had in mind. It was EXACTLY what I had in mind!! Olivier and Nathalie were so thorough in everything they did. They saw where I was going with the site and took some creative license and put a few things in that I hadn’t thought of. They guided me along the way, letting me do some of the work on my own to see if I could figure it out. I had never wanted to just say to someone “here this is what I want, build it” I wanted to do it on my own, and clearly that wasn’t possible. They worked on the site and helped me learn along the way.
They were both honest, upfront and beyond patient. Trying to decide on the right background proved a bit challenging but they patiently changed the background and font colors until the right fit happened. I few ideas I had, Olivier came back with responses that made me re-think my ideas. Other times it was thinking through what I thought would work, and being able to voice it to someone.
The site and the work became a “bit” more expansive than what was originally thought and they stuck to their original quote and had me do some of the more tedious work.
Even today, on launch day, spending several hours chatting back and forth on skype because certain tools weren’t working and Facebook wasn’t co-operating, Olivier worked his magic, waved his magic wand and fixed things I didn’t think or know could be fixed.
I felt an instant connection to Olivier and Nathalie and find them both to be amazing people and gifted at what they do.
I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for their type of expertise, but want to deal with real people and be treated like a real person and not just a dollar sign or a number!
